MKDA designed this sustainable turnkey office on the 23rd Floor at 730 Third Avenue on behalf of TIAA-CREF. MKDA had just 12 weeks to modify the building standards it had devised to incorporate ‘green’ elements, including materials comprised of post-consumer and post-industrial recycled content, doors made of Forest Stewardship Council-approved wood, Rug Institute Green Label Plus Program-approved carpeting, energy efficient lighting, and zero- to low-Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) paints.
