China Construction Bank

MKDA designed the first U.S. office of China Construction Bank Corp.—one of the world’s largest banks. The design involved working in close collaboration with the local and remote teams from China Construction Bank. Despite the project’s tight schedule, more time than usual was spent assisting executives in selecting furnishings and finishes that would properly convey the bank’s tradition and the status of each high ranking executive. To capitalize on the floor-to-ceiling windows, the clean architectural design includes open work areas, low-profile workstations and glass and wood private offices.
