MKDA was tasked with the renovation and expansion of this reputable financial institution’s existing space at 450 Park. The goal was to create a more welcoming, residential-inspired workplace that modernized the original aesthetic to meet today’s standards. To achieve this, the project team embraced a lighter, brighter color palette, placing an emphasis on natural light to promote employee wellbeing. The incorporation of new wood slat ceilings, sleek light fixtures, and subtle blue accents further enhances the overall ambiance of the space. In addition, MKDA installed a new interconnecting stair between the two floors to establish vertical connectivity, culminating in two open lounges and an upgraded pantry. Noteworthy design elements include the customized reception desk and pantry island, which both feature elegant fluted wood detailing and luxurious marble surfaces, adding a refined touch.
